Execute Curbside Contactless Pickup with SMS Text Payment Alerts

Contactless payments are now the norm as they can be done online and in one’s own home, reducing virus spread during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now whenever someone submits a payment form, administrators can be alerted immediately by setting up a notification via SMS text message. While memberplanet has always had online payment forms for contactless payments, text message notifications make it easier to facilitate curbside, contactless pickup. ​Organizations using memberplanet have set up grab-and-go services with these features and have kept their restaurants, clubs, and operations going. Below are some specific examples:

  • The United States Air Force Clubs use online payment forms and text message notifications for their restaurants on base. Payment forms give them the flexibility to offer member and nonmember pricing for menu items. Admins can share the URLs to payment forms via social media, email, or posting the link on their website. Patrons can order food on their mobile device and pick it up when it’s ready.
 
  • Northern California Golf Association has also continued operations at some of its golf clubs and courses. Golf clubs allow its members to pay for rounds of golf, snack bar items, and rentals through online payment forms.
 
  • Produce companies have put together weekly boxes of fruits and vegetables for sale. Customers can select a variety of items from russet potatoes to carrots to blueberries per basket on their payment forms. Then they can choose a date from a dropdown menu for contactless pickup.
