We love all of our nonprofit partners, but we have a special soft spot for The Thomas House Shelter (read on to learn why!), and we couldn't be more proud to be hosting their annual Orange County fun-run campaign this year.
Thomas House was started in 1986 by a husband and wife team living in Garden Grove, CA as a resource for struggling families.
They had a simple but powerful mission:
1) Get families to safety.
2) Provide the resources to keep them together.
3) Provide the resources and support to make them self sufficient.
The secret to Thomas House's success has been in their comprehensive and effective training and skill development programs for whole families. From the time a family arrives at Thomas House Shelter the goal is to nurture and bolster their skill set in preparation for a successful, secure departure, at which time the parent is employed with a secured housing option. Due to a strict no-handouts policy, they have been able to accomplish this on an incredibly lean per-family budget.
Over the past 25 years Thomas House has been recognized as a proven model for making lasting and transformational change for the families they serve. Their thorough approach and documented success rate have earned awards from organizations like the State Senate of California, Home Aid Orange County, Pacific Care Foundation Commendation, Nestle USA Silver Bowl, Interfaith Spirit Action Award and Orange County Board of Supervisors just to name a few.
As our client, we worked closely with a Thomas House volunteer representative to create a dynamic donation campaign/race-signup form. We have been excited to see the positive response, and we are excited to spread the word about this amazing program!

Integrating Quickpay links with a newsletter increased dues collection by 50% for this alumni leader...
Does collecting dues from your group sometimes feel like pulling teeth? If so, there is hope! Leaders on our site are making huge gains for their groups - with simple strategy changes that you can implement today.
Rachelle Hinkle from Indianapolis is a fantastic example of a forward-thinking leader. She is also the alumni leader for the Delta Gamma Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter. Her strategic decision to simply start sticking a Quickpay button link for dues onto her regular alumnae newsletter resulted in a 50% increase in yearly dues collection. On a recent survey, Rachelle reported that her group “increased its number of dues payers from 109 to 175, 80 of whom had never paid before, because of the ease and accessibility of the MP system.”

For example, the average profit margin on a dinner ticket is about 50%, so we have gone ahead and set those details as well, so you're "total raised" will be as accurate as possible.
